Altec Lansing Released MIX Boombox for iPod and iPhone

Altec Lansing has fulfill the wants of many iPod and iPhone lovers in music. With the MIX IMT800 for the iPod and iPhone which is designed to resemble a retro boombox and features a built-in Universal Dock, horn-loaded silk dome tweeters, two mid range drivers, a 5.25” side-firing subwoofer, 5.25” tuned passive radiator and integrated digital FM radio.

It even gives you the choice of powering it using AC power or eight D batteries, which will give you some expensive portability. It also includes an LCD tracfor track listings, artist, album, and station, a seven-band graphic equalizer, dual top-mounted auxiliary inputs and a clip-on remote control.

Kokoro Music Players Know Your Moods

This is something we, woman needs. The Kokoro music player plays tunes according to your moods (or technically your heart beats). The concept seems to be a take on the Yamaha BODiBEAT.

The ‘kokoro’ wearable playlist generator comes with a Polar heart rate sensor which transmits that data to an iPod, where it will then select tunes from your existing music library to match the current heart rate. Just like any other player you are required to program it and set different tunes to match your different emotional levels. For example, our heartbeat is slow when we’re relaxed, while whenever we’re stressed or involved in a high intensity workout, our heartbeat rate increases by more than double. So, by sensing your heart rate this player will play different tunes to match your moods.

Apple boasts the new iPod Shuffle 4GB as being the world’s smallest music player, measuring 45.2 x 17.5 x 7.8mm.

The voice-over feature, according to iFixIt , must first be downloaded via iTunes and the included headphone offers “two buttons for volume control and a center button for playback control. The center button can be clicked once to play, twice for the next track, and three times for the previous track”

When you press of a button iPod shuffle tells you the name of the song and artist. iPod shuffle can even tell you status information, such as battery life which has 10hrs continuous playback from the li-polymer battery.

In addition iPod shuffle can speak 14 languages including English, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Nikon announced its innovative product called The Media Port UP (“UP” read as individual letters ). Don’t mess up with cable, you can enjoy high-quality image, videos and music, even browse the net every where. You can enjoy image and video viewing with a sensation equivalent to that of viewing of a 50-inch large screen from a distance of three meters. This new technology is the result of the technologies and know how cultivated by Nikon with their development of SLR camera viewfinders and eyeglasses. Two UP models will be available—the high-performance UP300x and the basic UP300.
The UP300x is equipped with an 8 GB internal memory and the UP300 offers 4 GB of internal memory. The UP300x can hold MPEG-2 data of up to 160 minutes in length or WMV9 data of up to 500 minutes in length (MPEG-2 files recorded at 6.5Mb/s, WMV files recorded at 2Mb/s).
The UP300x is equipped with a motion sensor that supports hands free operational control. With simple head movements up, down, left, or right, a variety of operations, including volume adjustment, can be controlled without using the hands. Nikon boasted that Media Port UP was the world’s first multimedia headset with built-in Wi-Fi capability, support for movie playback, and high-capacity built-in memory.
