Nokia expand its business to portable device by introducing Nokia Booklet 3G, the Nokia’s first netbook.

Nokia’s Executive Vice President for Devices, Kai Oistamo, explained why Nokia is adding to its range of products with an ultra portable laptop PC :

“A growing number of people want the computing power of a PC with the full benefits of mobility. We are in the business of connecting people and the Nokia Booklet 3G is a natural evolution for us. Nokia has a long and rich heritage in mobility and with the outstanding battery life, premium design and all day, always on connectivity, we will create something quite compelling. In doing so we will make the personal computer more social, more helpful and more personal.”

Pink and pink, for the girls. My daughter definitely will love this Eee PC MK90H Disney from Asus. Love the pattern also, and if you see inside..

Atom N270 (1.60GHz), 1GB, 160GB HDD Netbook with a 8.9” and a 1024×600 resolution is a good one. In Japan this Disney Netbook will be sold in September with Windows XP and Not Linux, and will cost around 44500 Yen (335€).

Sony continues their teaser ads for the new Sony Vaio P series. The latest teaser, Sony called Vaio P as the ‘Light’ and consistent with an envelope picture.

UMPC Portal shared some new information ,

The Sony Vaio P will run on an Atom Z250 (1.33 as we’ve tested on the WiBrain and Kohjinsha SC3) with 2GB RAM, an HDD and optional SSD, GPS and UMTS with a price around the 700 Euro (970 dollars).The 2GB RAM hints at Vista (or ‘Windows 7 ready’).
Sony plan to held press event at CES 2009. The first CES press events are on the 6th Jan with the Sony ‘invitation only’. Press event planned for 4:15pm on Press day, the 7th in Las Vegas.
