OPPO will Launch Their First Android-Powered Smartphone

OPPO is known as a manufacture of PMPs, and obviously OPPO is trying another step in popular phone and try this chances with so promising and sleek model.

PMP manufacturer OPPO will launch their first Android-powered smartphone in the Q1 of 2010.

Let’s put some light on its features; includes a 3.5-inch WQGA (800 x 480) capacitive multitouch screen, a QWERTY keyboard, and WiFi. The name of the model is unavailable but do keep reading for more updates.

LG-GD910, The World’s First 3G HSDPA Touchscreen Mobile Video Phone

Yesterday we featured Philips 9@9q fashionable phone with long-life battery capacity, standby up to 1 month. Now we gonna share another fashionable phone from LG.Actually Sony Ericsson has released MBW-200 bluetooth watch for woman, but LG develop more advance technology.

On December 29, LG Electronic announced LG-GD910,World’s first 3G HSDPA touchsreen wrist phone.
LG-GD910 has 1,43″ color touchscreen LCD,13.9mm thick, camera and built-in speaker to enable user to make video calls over 7.2 Mbps speed HSDPA network.

Another features are Text To Speech (TTS) ability, Bluetooth and MP3 player. LG plan to display LG-GD910 at CES 2009, 8-11 January 2009 in Las Vegas.

Philips Xenium 9@9q Phoenix and Dragon : Stay Connected and Fashionable

I am a big fan of Philips Xenium especially 9@9 series. I used two models 9@9c and 9@9r. What I like most from 9@9 series are long battery life and huge internal storage capacity.

Currently I am using Philips Xenium 9@9r for one year and two months. I am happy for this sleek black phone. Even tough Philips boast the battery would stay up to 1 month standby, but what I found it only stay up to one week. Apparently because performance is depend on network service provider.

On September Philips released Xenium 9@9q and now Philips release the new special version of it.
Looks like Philips anticipate the upcoming New Year celebration by release Xenium 9@9q which are called Phoenix and Dragon version.

Thin glossy clamshell body (18.3mm) is decorated with exquisite ancient chinesse beasts drawings, which turns the device into a stylish fashionable gizmo.

Philips Xenium 9@9q Phoenix and Dragon are equipped with an external monochrome display which notify of new SMS, incoming and missed calls, as well as the level of battery power.You don’t need to flip out the phone, just look at the identification icons on the outer panel.

Although Xenium 9@9r Phoenix and Dragon only use battery Li-Ion 890 mAh, but Philips boasts the phones will standby up to 1 month and up to 8 hours talktime.
Unfortunately that’s not the most powerfull battery, my old Xenium 9@9r has battery Li-ion 1050 mAH

Luckily for Russia people these fashionable phone will debut in this country for 4990 rubles or about $170.Unfortunately when I check the local store Ozon.ru both Phoenix and Dragon are expected delivery date in January 2009. I guess these phones will miss the New Year party !

I don’t know the reason why debut in Russia. I think the first market enter should be Asian region, because the Dragon and Phoenix are Chinesse ancient beasts. Also there will be Chinese new year in January 2009 which Chinesse people will celebrate in most part of Asian region.

BenQ S6 MID is going global, based on product page

Start launched in Italy, S6 Mobile Internet Device (MID) will release to other markets soon, as indicated
by BenQ’s global product page for the gadget. Further evidence of the S6’s expansion outside of Italy comes via the spec sheet, which reveals the S6 will support 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA networks in addition to 900/1800/1900MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies.
The gadget uses Intel Atom processor running at 800MHz and a 4.8-inch, 800×480 touchscreen. A stylus is included with the S6, as is a three-axial G-sensor that allows web page scrolling and other functions by just tilting the MID.

An 802.11b/g Wi-Fi module is also included for accessing networks, while Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR allows syncing with compatible devices. The S6 acts as a multimedia player as well, Watch video, browse photos, or listen to digital music. The possibilities are endless, and endlessly entertaining. You can also use MicroSD cards to store your favorite content on the S6, as well as view and edit Office files. No word on release or pricing information, although the S6 is currently available in Italy for the equivalent of about $580
