D-link recently announced to began shipping a network camera that allows users to remotely monitor live streaming video through the company’s new www.mydlink.com portal.

D-Link released two models, the new DCS-1100 Mydlink-enabled wired network camera feature easy installation and setup, mobile 3G and Web monitoring, 16x digital zoom, motion detection, integrated microphone and multiple profiles. The DCS-1100 connects to the home or small business network via a standard network cable, while the DCS-1130 connects using 802.11n Wi-Fi with WPS support.

With 3GPP mobile surveillance, users can view a live feed from the cameras using a 3G-enabled cell phone, PDA or any compatible RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) device. Users are offered a flexible and convenient way to remotely monitor their homes or offices in real time from anywhere within a customer’s mobile network by simply using a common 3GPP-compatible player on the mobile device.

Mydlink-enabled products let users with high-speed Internet, a home network and a PC quickly and easily install and monitor compatible home networking devices. The groundbreaking mydlink portal takes the work out of activation and management of devices by offering the following user experience:

To add Mydlink-enabled products to the mydlink portal users follow these steps.
Simply plug the camera into your router and start Setup which is as easy as 1-2-3.
1. Run the Installation Wizard and follow the on-screen prompts.
2. Log on to mydlink.com from anywhere you can access the Internet.
3. Start managing your mydlink-enabled device(s).
Unfortunately mydlink.com currently only requires computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 or above with IE6.0 or above with access to the internet.

For advanced users that want more out of their camera, the DCS-1130 also comes with D-Link D-ViewCam management software. D-ViewCam comes with a host of features including the ability to record directly from the camera to a local hard drive, trigger motion detection, set recording schedules, set e-mail alert notifications, and even support for up to 32 cameras.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Get Reviewed (Video)

The last Panasonic camera we featured was Lumix DMC-G1 the world’s smallest interchangeable lens camera.Recently Panasonic released Lumix DMC-FS25 to the market and get reviewed (video).

The DMC-FS25 is the new top-of-the-line model for LUMIX’s ultra-slim line of FS-series cameras,” said David Briganti, National Marketing Manager, Imaging, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company. “By incorporating some advanced features and technologies previously only found on our higher-end models, the DMC-FS25 offers users a stylish, pocket-sized digital camera capable of producing high-quality photos. This new model exemplifies Panasonic’s goal of providing photographers at every level with easy-to-use cameras that make photos appear professional grade.

The 12.1 megapixel DMC-FS25 features a 5x optical zoom and a 29mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, a 3.0-inch intelligent LCD and Intelligent Auto mode, which now has its own dedicated button and includes AF tracking, Intelligent Exposure and Face Detection with red-eye correction. The FS25 provides slideshows complete with music, there’s a new Photo Frame mode and it can record WVGA (848 x 480) movies at 30 frames per second. Panasonic’s optical image stabilizer, Venus Engine IV processor and ISO 1600 at full image resolution complete the headline specification.

Tomy Xiao TIP-521 Digital Camera with Built-in Printer Available in US

The Xiao TIP-521 hits Japan local market starting November 28, for $320. For 20 sheets of printing paper will cost $8.
Previously we got information that American customers will likely get the Xiao TIP-521 in April or May 2009.
Now you don’t have to wait such long time. The Xiao TIP-521 brought to US by Audiocubes, now you can own Xiao TIP-521 for $499.99. It’s available in three colors: black, green and pink.Unfortunately there is no price information about the print paper.
