Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Get Reviewed (Video)

The last Panasonic camera we featured was Lumix DMC-G1 the world’s smallest interchangeable lens camera.Recently Panasonic released Lumix DMC-FS25 to the market and get reviewed (video).

The DMC-FS25 is the new top-of-the-line model for LUMIX’s ultra-slim line of FS-series cameras,” said David Briganti, National Marketing Manager, Imaging, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company.  “By incorporating some advanced features and technologies previously only found on our higher-end models, the DMC-FS25 offers users a stylish, pocket-sized digital camera capable of producing high-quality photos.  This new model exemplifies Panasonic’s goal of providing photographers at every level with easy-to-use cameras that make photos appear professional grade.

The 12.1 megapixel DMC-FS25 features a 5x optical zoom and a 29mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, a 3.0-inch intelligent LCD and Intelligent Auto mode, which now has its own dedicated button and includes AF tracking, Intelligent Exposure and Face Detection with red-eye correction. The FS25 provides slideshows complete with music, there’s a new Photo Frame mode and it can record WVGA (848 x 480) movies at 30 frames per second. Panasonic’s optical image stabilizer, Venus Engine IV processor and ISO 1600 at full image resolution complete the headline specification.

Mark Goldstein found out if the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is a worthwhile successor to the FS20 model. In addition it’s an easy-to-use, fairly responsive compact camera with a versatile 5x zoom lens that is particularly well suited to the beginner or anyone who requires a purely point-and-shoot camera.(Full review).
