Nokia 5800 Xpress Music: How to Select Multiple Items Using the Pencil

One thing that missing even the latest firmware v20.0.012 for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the ability to select multiple items in a list, without having to highlight each item, then go to options>mark for each one. This used to be accomplished by holding down the pencil key on older handsets, such as the Nokia N95, but starting with the N82, the pencil (pencil also known as ABC, or Shift) key was banished to the nether-regions, with the # key taking over the responsibilities.

Amazon Kindle 2 Available for Pre-Order Now for $359

Amazon unveiled the Kindle 1 in November 2007. Interest at first was lackluster, but about a year after its release U.S. talk-show host and media mogul Oprah Winfrey promoted the device, which sent sales surging. Amazon couldn’t handle the demand her endorsement inspired and Kindle 1 has been out of stock since November.

Amazon will continue the best-selling Kindle 1 by launched Kindle 2 on February 9,2009.
