Last month we showed you the new fusion solar messenger bag which was designed to trickle charge the batteries of many types and brands of electronics including cell phones, smart phones, hand-held GPS units, and MP3 players with a convenient solar charging solution.
Another solar gear recently unveils by Energizer. It’s a portable solar-powered AA and AAA battery charger that transfers sunlight to power.
Energizer solar recharger features USB-port to power other devices (since some cell phones, cameras, and GPS units have USB plugs, like most iPods for example). If the sun don’t comes out, the battery still can be charged from an AC outlet. The element has weatherproof material so the rechargeable should be able to operate while doing outdoor adventure activities. Another good part is assisted by a flip-out solar panel, so you can easily direct it to facing the sunlight.
The official announcement is expected at CES 2009 and you can own solar recharger for $49.99 (MSRP), 2 AAs included.
