Remember the old time instant camera ? The instant camera is a type of camera with self-developing film.The most famous are those made by the Polaroid Corporation. Polaroid no longer manufactures such cameras.In more recent years, Fujifilm has introduced a line of instant cameras and film. This includes film compatible with certain Polaroid models. Hey, what about in digital era ? We are not using film anymore,right ?. Recently Takara Tomy, Japanese toy maker, released Tomy Xiao TIP-521 Digital Camera with Built-in Printer. The Xiao TIP-521 comes with the following specs:
- 5 megapixels
- 4x digital zoom
- 2.48-inch LCD screen
- infrared port and support of SD/SDHC memory cards
- thermal line printer with an OK resolution of 313dpi (size of the prints: 2×3 inches)
- size: 149.5mm x 74.5mm x 25mm
- weight: 294 grams
The Xiao TIP-521 hits Japan local market starting November 28, for $320. For 20 sheets of printing paper will cost $8. American customers will likely get the Xiao TIP-521 in April or May 2009.
