I don’t have valid data yet, but I’m definitely sure that iPHONE’s selling in Japan wasn’t good. Because of what ? In Japan’s market there are so many attractive handphone, even its only hit local market. Could that be because iPHONE 3G lack of a TV Tuner ? Today Softbank launched an external 1seg TV tuner with additional battery for iPHONE. Just plugged iPHONE to recharge the battery, or Wifi for TV mode. Enjoy !!

Augmented Reality is Not Just 3D Books

Wednesday 29 October 2008 @ 10:04 pm

Children loves the flap book.Just name one is Mariel,my 3 years old daughter. She has more than 6 flap books. She loves to read and lift the flap book. I think she can’t wait for new technology call Augmented Reality (AR).This technology enables viewing 3D object on to the book, using web cam and PC/laptops.It was a good news from Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany,ArsEdition ’s upcoming interactive 3D book Aliens & UFOs, provides a good example of Metaio’s Augmented Reality (AR) technology. It superimposes 3D objects (like the UFOs) onto the real world through camera recognition software, which is downloaded by a user after the book is bought. The only thing needed is a modern web cam on a Windows-based PC. Currently, there is no listed price or availability for the Aliens & UFOs book, but the AR-enabled Atlantica  3D Interactive book will be available in mid-November.
